CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by the president Chuck Needham.

Motion to accept the June 15, 2009 minutes.

BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES

COMMITTEE REPORTS
GREENS
- Feel the greens are good and roll at a good speed.
- Flow meter has arrived but not yet installed.
- Applied for pesticide license examiner, licensed Yvan and Phil. Now able to spray for weeds, insects and fungus under Corey=s supervision. (2 yr license)
- 9 pond treated for weeds with dye packs, successful.
- Investigating the cost of dry jet aeration, if too expensive will do our own deep tyne aeration in the fall.
- Fungicide has been applied, fairways fertilized twice and almost all trees pruned.
- Needed a pump part, cost $1,400.00.
- Ministry of Labour inspection, need fire extinguishers tagged and checked, chain-saw pants and WHMIS training for the staff.
- Discussed changing the pars on 18 and 13 for safety reasons.
- Overhauling equipment maintenance, will save money in the long run by eliminating costly repairs. Frogs Breath mechanic (Dan Bowen) helping in this.
- All greens aerated twice.
PRO SHOP
- Although memberships are down $17,000.00 green fees are up $6,200.00 and wages are down $2,300.00.
- Will question Rick regarding ASupplies@ (What are they).
- Some items are going on sale.
- Karbon shirts have arrived.
CLUBHOUSE
- Meeting was held on Sunday July 19 with Steve Polyblank, Steve Chenier, Keisha, and Chuck Needham to work out problems. Steve Polyblank is in charge of Clubhouse with Keisha, Steve Chenier is only to help out with meals and functions.
- Staff meeting tomorrow night with all staff. Minutes will be taken.
FINANCES
- Concern that clubhouse purchases are up $9,000.00, equipment maintenance and repairs on course up $4,000.00.
- Course supplies up $28,000.00 but all big buying is done.
- Pro Shop the same, membership down $15,000.00.
- Will provide a projection of income until the end of the year.
TOURNAMENTS
- Invitations and posters sent out for the Civic.
- Will allow 16 year olds in the tournament.
ADVERTISING
- Promoting all events
PLANNING
- Requests committee planning reports and costing if applicable by next meeting to begin preparing for the AGM.
- Mike Bonnah, Bill Johnston, Gilles will meet regarding tree planting.

- Junior lessons are full.
- Will talk to Alvin Willard about writing the letter to the City about the taxes.
- Discussion about Civic entries.
Motion to forward Ray Paradis an invitation to the 2009 Civic Tournament.

- Request by Plowing match for 15 power carts. Chuck Needham to investigate insurance.
