1.         Meeting called to order 7:02 PM

2.         Additions to the agenda: None

3.         Adoption of the May minutes

a.  Moved by G Beasley, seconded by A Willard.  CARRIED

4.         New Business

a.  Casing on pump, 12 hours @ $90.00/hr. Clean and get liquid metal from inside. If  not $1400.00 for a new pump.

b.  M Bonnah brought up the minutes to be posted on the website not done yet. Alvin to call him again.

c.  Elections for

i.  Secretary - M Bonnah type and email

ii.  Vice President - K Denomme

iii.  Treasurer - A Willard

 

Moved by G Beasley, seconded by A Willard that nominations be closed. CARRIED

d.  Signing power, two of three. Alvin, Mike, Chuck

 

Reports:

 

Greens

 

-  Pump casing, well house should be replaced, new well pipe.

-  Water quality checked once per month

-  Sand added to bunkers, greens over seeded last week, sprayed for dandelions

-  Some greens have dead spots, considering patching them

-  Billy wants a top dresser blower worth $7000.00. Brian said NO WAY

 

Clubhouse

 

-  Frustration in getting open but it is much neater

-  Oil in fryers was left too long and was changed, Steve cleaned the flat grill

-  Compressor fixed, $1500.00 for walk in fridge

-  Ice machine not fixed yet, Lamoroux called

-  UV light Campsall Electric plumbing

-  Quotes on replacing carpet in clubhouse


-  Need a triple sink or dishwasher by July 16

Moved by G Beasley, seconded by A Willard to go ahead with dishwasher. CARRIED

 

Finance

 

-  Greens crew wages are way up, WHY???

-  Clubhouse okay

-  Membership  reduce budget to $160,000

-  Green fees                reduce budget to $100,000

-  Bar Revenue reduce budget to $76,000

 

Tournaments

 

-  2 - man Early Bird                 103 teams                    $5100.00

-  Audrey Nightingale                38 teams                      down in numbers

-  Civic, flyers to be made and sent out

New Business

 

-  Joe Marsh to compare membership numbers from 2007 to 2008

-  Re-newed e-mail address for 5-years $80.00

-  Insurance, must keep driveway plowed for fire access in winter

-  Club championship will remain on July 12,13

-  Club championship signs discussed and it was agreed to leave them up. Steve refused to be reimbursed for the cost

-  Twilight fees discussed

Moved by M Bonnah, seconded by A Willard that twilight fees begin at 4:00 pm at a cost of $25.00/18 holes on weekends only.  CARRIED

-  Chuck Durrant to be given a written letter giving him two weeks to improve his performance and cleanliness of the clubhouse. G Beasley, C Needham, and S Polyblank to meet and write the letter.

-  K Denomme unhappy with Ladies nite meals
